Blood Vessel - Rue Morgue crewing up for fundraisers and Burning Man

The Blood Vessel - Rue Morgue is crewing up for our fundraisers and for Burning Man. We need lovelies for Camp Manager, LNT Mgr, press liaisons, bar tending, Blood Vessel Hotties, Pal Bearers and more.

For those unaware of the Blood Vessel - Rue Morgue, its an art project involving the Blood Vessel art car with the goal of taking hand made art coffins to Burning Man's Temple burn. People make origami cranes at the Rue Morgue camp. The cranes have the well wishes of the departed to be taken inside the coffins to be burned.

We celebrate the death as well as the life and help people release the pain they have inside. Our 25 foot coffin trailer towed by the hearse "Clarice" carries the party fun part of what we do, dance our asses off!

Gothic Picnic at Evergreen, Santa Cruz CA

Yep we're at it again! A fundraiser for the Blood Vessel. The Blood Vessel is a 1971 side loading MM hearse thats being playafied, art carafied and pulling the Last Caress, the hugest coffin in the world. Its uses are to take the well wishes of the departed for those burners in attendance of the Temple Burn or those that cannot come. We are building coffins for people to place inside a folded origami crane with written well wishes and good byes. In addition we deliver The Black Rock Beacon newspaper to the far reaches of Burning Man.

We really need your support. Tickets are on sale NOW for our first annual Blood Vessel Gothic Picnic at the Evergreen Cemetary.

Okay Goulettes, casting call for Cheerleaders for a new TV show pilot shooting in Los Angeles soon. The show is hosted by non other than the scariest Stanton LaVey and his Nymphstress fetish model Szandora. We need some cheerleaders as a regular part on the series (3 per episode). For the Dark Pep Squad at the Dresden Dolls show!

Whitney posted about it awhile back: "Calling all Cheerleaders!"

kSea is doing the main organizing for the SF show. He said, "What we're mainly looking for are things to titillate and disturb, amuse and unsettle. We want a distinct line between our performers and our guests, so they know that you aren't just someone else there to see the show. We're there for them!"

"It would be great if you could find at least one more person (so there are three) to do it with you, and just off the top of my head I was thinking maybe you guys could be standing somewhere motionless, occasionally breaking into twisted cheers –or something like that –or completely different. Whatever you want! The more outrageous in dress and activity the better!"

Renee and I are trying to get a little squad together, and we need at least a third person to make it a squad. We plan on doing some weird freaky chants and cheers and stuff, you know!

The show is coming up soon (11/17) so we need to get this together ASAP.

The Dresden Dolls are touring again and we're looking for interactive performers in the audience for the shows. What you do is pretty much up to you, so use your imagination! I'd love to see a dark pep squad come up and do cheers between acts. It will be great exposure as their shows have been selling out all over the place.

We are recruiting performers of all shapes and talents and levels of freakiness to join in decorating a number of fine establishments between Seattle and San Diego with living art and moderately controlled chaos. It is an opportunity to be involved in creating an interactive kind of rock show.
